Spring garden,ukuleles, art

Lettuces and tomato plants were added to our garden. The garlic plants are growing well, the ornamental kale is frilly and colourful.
We welcome any donations of seeds/seedlings. The children are very keen to acquire some strawberry plants!

Science - a 'wow' experiment!

We placed pictures of arrows and coloured strips behind glasses of water and couldn't believe what happened next... the images reversed and even split !

 

 

 

 

 

 

The children came up with possible reasons why we saw this effect - "the water might be moving"

"could it be something to do with light?" .......
