Daffodil Day, Apple Fun and cheery Suns

Room 1 was amazing as every child contributed a gold coin to fundraise for Daffodil Day !

We co-operated and took turns to colour in a big
Daffodil Day poster.

Mrs Parr had some apples left over from her Autumn harvest. We cut them up and talked about 1/2s and 1/4s.

We made 3-D apple sculptures. It was tricky, we had a lot of collapses but we did manage to keep some of our constructions together!

Our Poem of the Week is "Sun Sun"

The children painted with the hot colours red, orange and yellow to produce cheerful, bright suns to lighten up our classroom.

Sometimes, we are happy to just relax with a good book.
